چکیده

In a prior study, our group found that chorionic villus-derived mesenchymal stem cells (CV-MSCs) were capable of promoting trophoblast proliferative and invasive activity. The mechanistic basis for this activity, however, has yet to be clarified. As such, an RNA-Seq analysis was conducted using trophoblasts treated with or without CV-MSC-conditioned media. Of the differentially expressed genes identified when comparing these two groups cells, 23 proliferation-associated knocked down test their functional roles in trophoblasts. These analyses revealed inhibiting neuregulin 1 (NRG1) expression sufficient suppress proliferation induce cell cycle arrest Placental samples from patients preeclampsia exhibited significantly increased NRG1 relative healthy pregnancies. Following treatment media, upregulated at mRNA protein levels. Relative control trophoblasts, those which had been impaired DNA replication inactivation NF-κB signaling pathway. contrast, overexpressing yielded opposite phenotypes. Even NRG1, inhibition (P < 0.05). results indicate elevated may play role ability CV-MSCs activity through axis.

Curcumin inhibits gastric cancer-derived mesenchymal stem cells mediated angiogenesis by regulating NF-κB/VEGF signaling.

Cancer-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) seem to play an important role in mediating tumor angiogenesis. Recently, curcumin has been shown to display multiple therapeutic properties, including anticancer activity. In the present study, we have tried to explore the role of curcumin in regulating gastric cancer cells-derived mesenchymal stem cells (GC-MSCs) mediated angiogenesis. Our results ...

Activation of Mesenchymal Stem Cells by Macrophages Prompts Human Gastric Cancer Growth through NF-κB Pathway

Accumulating evidence indicate that macrophages activate mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) to acquire pro-inflammatory phenotype. However, the role of MSCs activated by macrophages in gastric cancer remains largely unknown. In this study, we found that MSCs were activated by macrophages to produce increased levels of inflammatory cytokines. Cell colony formation and transwell migration assays revea...

Mesenchymal stem cells promote colorectal cancer progression through AMPK/mTOR-mediated NF-κB activation

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) exert a tumor-promoting effect in a variety of human cancers. This study was designed to identify the molecular mechanisms related to the tumor-promoting effect of MSCs in colorectal cancer. In vitro analysis of colorectal cancer cell lines cultured in MSC conditioned media (MSC-CM) showed that MSC-CM significantly promoted the progression of the cancer cells by en...

SOX4 promotes melanoma cell migration and invasion though the activation of the NF-κB signaling pathway

SOX4 has been reported to be abnormally expressed in many types of cancer, including melanoma. However, its role in cell proliferation and metastasis remains controversial. In this study, SOX4 was downregulated or overexpressed in A375, A2058 and A875 melanoma cells by siRNA or lentivirus transfection, respectively. Cell metastasis was observed by Transwell assay. In an aim to elucidate the und...
